Tombstones

Since time immemorial burials are performed and historically have been used more or less decorated stones to cover the graves and to locate the deceased.
The evolution over the past century took us from the austere to modern tombstones stone and marble tombstones mostly granite headstones for graves in niches.


A stone is a flat stone usually has an inscription. The term is commonly used to designate the tombstone: a carved stone (in Flint, granite, marble, etc..) That marks the spot where a burial.

They are often carved rectangular cross or some other symbolic figure, and contain reliefs recorded indicating the belief, ideology, profession or social position of the deceased, and also reach mythological motifs included.
